Wondering who and what to tip in Las Vegas?

Tipping 15 to 20% of the total bill is the rule of thumb in Las Vegas – applicable at restaurants, pubs and nightclubs.

General Tipping Guidelines

  • Taxi Cab Drivers – $1 to $2 per person, one-way or direct route
  • Valet Parking – $2 per car attendant
  • Hotel Bellhop or Doorman – $1 to $2 a bag
  • Hotel Concierge – $5
  • Housekeeping – $2 per day
  • Casino Table Dealers – making a small bet on their behalf is appropriate
  • Slot Attendants and Keno Runners – $1 to $2
  • Showroom mater D’s – anywhere from $5 to $20 depending on the show
    • Note: tips are not required for assigned seating
