
Wondering who and what to tip in Las Vegas?
Tipping 15 to 20% of the total bill is the rule of thumb in Las Vegas – applicable at restaurants, pubs and nightclubs.
General Tipping Guidelines
- Taxi Cab Drivers – $1 to $2 per person, one-way or direct route
- Valet Parking – $2 per car attendant
- Hotel Bellhop or Doorman – $1 to $2 a bag
- Hotel Concierge – $5
- Housekeeping – $2 per day
- Casino Table Dealers – making a small bet on their behalf is appropriate
- Slot Attendants and Keno Runners – $1 to $2
- Showroom mater D’s – anywhere from $5 to $20 depending on the show
- Note: tips are not required for assigned seating
