Oscar B. Goodman is the 19th mayor of Las Vegas voted into office in 1999. He was later re-elected for a second four-year term in April 2003 capturing 86 percent of the popular vote.
Known by many as, “the happiest mayor in the world, ” Goodman was born and raised in Philadelphia and holds a law degree from Penn Law.
As one of the principal criminal defense attorneys in Las Vegas, he was named one of the “15 Best Trial Lawyers in America” by the National Law Journal. He is also a member of the Advisory board of the US Conference of Mayors.
Goodman is married to his wife Carolyn of 44 years and together they have four children.
