Everyone should see a Cirque du Soleil show at least once in their lifetime. The French-Canadian company offers 5 exhilarating shows on the Las Vegas Strip. Enjoy an evening of dinner, gambling and one of the following Cirque productions in Las Vegas.
Mystère is the first theater show produced by Cirque and has been running strong for 15 years at Treasure Island. Created by Franco Dragone, the central theme is that of mythology created from various cultures, set to a dark, “mysterious” world-beat soundtrack.
“O” is a spectacular water-themed Cirque production at the Bellagio. It features breathtaking dives, synchronized swimming, fire dancers and a pair of existential clowns. The title is a play on the French word for water, ‘eau’. The preshow is a riot so take your seats early.
Zumanity is a cabaret-inspired show at the New York New York Hotel & Casino. Hosted by a naughty-talking drag queen, this humorous show mixes acrobatics with topless women. With plenty of wows, this show really does bring out the sensual side of Cirque.
The CatHouse Las Vegas is a high-end restaurant and lounge located in the Luxor Resort and Casino. Here you will enjoy an evening of fine dining in an environment filled with sexy decor, sultry dancing, superb food and excellent wine and customer service.
This provocative and sophisticated restaurant is a modern interpretation of a 19th-century French bordello. It has a provocatively attired staff and performers who model special burlesque CatHouse lingerie.
The CatHouse is divided into two sections - the restaurant and the Red Room. The Red Room is a lounge and dance area where things can get ‘real’ naughty and ‘real’ interesting.

Legends In Concert at The Imperial Palace
Tribute to Elvis Presley in The Fitzgerald’s Showroom
Trent Carlini: The Musical History of the King at The Sahara

Whether it’s the 1968 Comeback Elvis, the Early Vegas Jumpsuit Elvis or even Big Elvis, the role of an Elvis Impersonator is no easy task.

Scary moments for guests, hotel employees and onlookers on the Las Vegas Strip as a huge fire broke out Friday morning on the roof of the Monte Carlo hotel.
The serious nature of the fire forced guests and employees to flee the resort before firefighters could take control and the extent of the fire also forced a closure of the casino.
Investigators are working to determine whether the fire merely burned the resorts front exterior of the building or penetrated rooms that contain suites in the upper floors.

Interview With Mark Dyer: Owner of The NASCAR Cafe Las Vegas
Vegas eNews: How did you first become involved in ownership of the NASCAR Cafe?
Mark Dyer: Two friends who acquired the rights to he NASCAR Cafe concept in 1995 approached me. I joined them in 1996 as president of the startup company, and we opened our first location in Myrtle Beach, S.C. in February 1997. I thought NASCAR was a great pick for a theme because it represents not just a sport, but also a lifestyle.
Vegas eNews: What directed your attention to the restaurant/tourism industry as a profession to begin with and did you originally see your role (career) in it different than it is?
Mark Dyer: I didn’t seek the restaurant-tourism industry per say, I just thought the NASCAR Cafe concept was promising and thought I’d be able to bring something to the equation as far as building the brand. I never dreamed I’d have the opportunity to buy the rights to the Las Vegas location when I started this.
