For the second year in a row, the UNLV Rebels won the Mountain West Conference Tournament qualifying them to play in the NCAA Championship.

In a shameless 71-58 victory, UNLV knocked Kent State out of the first round on Thursday, March 20 at the Qwest Center in Omaha, Nebraska. This win advances them to play tournament front-runners, Kansas Jayhawks in the Midwest Region on Saturday March 22.

This year’s team is built on pure fortitude and determination and it shows. Las Vegas college basketball fans are confident their team is going all the way and many are even taking their confidence online to bet on NCAA college basketball.

Last year the UNLV Rebels won their first two games before Oregon beat them in the regional semifinals, but with this year’s team having four new starters and a new look, victory is conceivable.
