Finally the winner of the Preakness Stakes will be fighting for a Triple Crown victory, which means the excitement levels will be high in Las Vegas this year as people flock to sportsbooks for live Triple Crown betting.

In the first leg of the Triple Crown, the Kentucky Derby was won by the incredible Big Brown, who dominated this race in the final stretch. In the Preakness Stakes, the second leg of the Triple Crown, Big Brown proved once again that he was a dominating force among a weak field of competitors.

Big Brown is a serious favorite when the Belmont Stakes is run on June 7th, 2008 and he is clearly the horse to beat. It will interesting to see how low his odds will be in sportsbooks across Las Vegas and online.

The Belmont Stakes takes place at Belmont Park in Belmont, New York. At a mile and a half long, it is the longest race of the Triple Crown and is commonly referred to as the “Test of Champions.”

The most memorable Triple Crown moment to come out of Belmont Park was in 1973 when the amazing Secretariat won the race by 31-lengths and set a world record time of 2:24.
